    What’s New in FeyCast 3.2.4

A privacy update. Everything in 3.2.3 is included, and FeyCast now collects less than it ever has.

    • No advertising measurement: The AppsFlyer SDK and the Apple Ads attribution service are gone from the app.
    • Purchases stay on your device: FeyCast no longer sends subscription events to its own servers.
    • Quieter records: Technical telemetry no longer stores your IP address or user agent. Feedback diagnostics omit those fields too, and your optional reply email is forwarded for support without being saved in the support log.

FeyCast has no accounts and no cross-app tracking, and I never sell your data. See the privacy policy for the data needed by weather, notifications, optional station features, support, and reliability monitoring.

  6. v33.80 Coming soon ·

    What’s New in FeyCast 3.2.2

This update includes changes inspired by your feedback. Historical data is great for weather nerds like me, but most people want to know what the day will be like.

The 24H, 48H, and 7D views on the Live tab now bring recent weather and the forecast together. You can still explore the full historical depth on the Live tab and look further ahead on the Forecast tab.

    • New 48-hour view: the past 12 hours and next 36 hours.
    • Updated 7-day view: two days of history and five days ahead.
    • Clearer current temperature, high and low markers, with temperature-based colors and improved labels.
    • Refined hourly and daily forecast layouts.

  10. v31.83

FeyCast 3.0: my biggest update yet

    • Widgets. Current conditions, forecasts, air quality, and quick launches into any part of the app, right on your Home Screen. They refresh on their own, even when FeyCast is closed.
    • Spaghetti models. A teacher wrote in asking for them, so here they are. Tap any tropical storm and switch to Models to see 31 NOAA GEFS ensemble tracks alongside the official forecast. See where the models agree, and where they don’t.
    • Storms, redesigned. Category chips, forecast cones, and a tap that flies you straight to any storm.
    • Upgraded legends. Every map legend now uses the official scale from its data source, with clearer bands and unit-aware labels.
    • Cleaner maps. New Premium controls hide the location dot, the selected pin, and legends.
    • iPad refinements and reliability improvements to map layers and playback throughout.

Widgets are on iPhone and iPad today; Android gets everything else in this release. Have an idea for FeyCast? Settings → Send feedback comes straight to me, and I read every one.

  11. v30.66

    More control over your map

FeyCast 2.5 adds Premium controls to hide the current-location dot, selected-location marker, and map legends. The layer-opacity control now moves with the drawer as you drag it. On Android, muted notification channels offer a direct link to Settings. This release also includes reliability fixes.

  12. v30.60

    Smoother radar, clearer maps

FeyCast 2.4 makes radar playback smoother and more reliable, improves full-world map navigation, and adds clearer Globe controls. The Premium screen now includes a visual tour of FeyCast’s features, alongside refinements to iPad charts, translated labels, storm classifications, and reliability throughout the app.

  13. v30.31

    FeyCast comes to iPad

For this update, I reworked FeyCast so its layouts respond to the space available. Live weather, forecasts, radar, Nature, History, Globe, and StormChaser can now make proper use of an iPad in portrait, landscape, or a resized window.

One of the harder parts was making everything adapt while you rotate or resize the app without losing your place, changing a selection, restarting a map, or making a chart jump around. Radar playback needed additional work too, particularly on the much larger map.

Larger layouts now have a sidebar for useful Live conditions, forecasts have been reorganized to fit the space more naturally, and maps and charts are no longer confined to an iPhone-sized column. I also spent an unreasonable amount of time moving labels and controls by a few pixels until they looked right.

This is FeyCast’s first proper iPad release. I’m sure I’ll find more things to improve once people begin using it on different iPads, but it finally feels like FeyCast belongs there.

  14. v29.49

    Worldwide aerosols and smoke

Explore animated worldwide Aerosols and Smoke maps, with Aerosols now free for everyone. This update also improves Storm Tracking, radar, timelines, layouts, translations, and reliability.

  15. v29.16

    Clearer forecasts

FeyCast 2.1 makes forecasts clearer with improved hourly, 10-day, and Possible Futures charts, better tap readouts, smoother scrolling, and reliability fixes.

  16. v28.65

    The biggest update since launch

FeyCast 2.0 brings major improvements to maps, radar, alerts, notifications, and the everyday forecast experience, with more than 90 improvements throughout the app.

Explore the redesigned Data Layers experience, forecast rainfall from the next 12 hours through seven days, richer radar styles, a unified Notifications inbox, clearer severe-weather maps, draggable favorite layers, and map labels in your selected FeyCast language.

There are also improvements to alert locations, earthquake notifications, radar sharing, satellite-pass predictions, tornado reports, weather history, accessibility, privacy, and reliability.

  17. v27.23

A clearer view of what’s ahead

FeyCast’s first major App Store update brings a new unified Notifications inbox, explicit Weather alert locations, and earthquake alerts that open directly on the event that matters.

Radar gets a new Forecast Rainfall map, richer Contour detail, six Wind motion styles, clearer legends, and more ways to tailor each layer. You can now drag to reorder favorite layers, while map labels follow your selected FeyCast language.

There are also fresher tornado reports, more reliable long-range history, a more expressive Possible Futures preview, and dozens of smaller refinements for smoother controls, accessibility, privacy, and reliability.

  18. v26.33

    Clearer choices

FeyCast 1.0.2 makes the Premium screen easier to read: a “Choose your plan” heading, selection dots on the Monthly and Annual cards, and the exact price of your selected plan confirmed under the button before you commit to anything.

Map layer legends sit back in the bottom corner where they belong, air quality shows a brief loading note instead of an alarming “unavailable” while stations wake up, and Premium features now unlock everywhere the moment a purchase or restore completes.

  19. v26.27

    A smoother guided tour

FeyCast 1.0.1 keeps the guided tour anchored as History finishes loading, so Seasonal Patterns stays highlighted and the tour controls remain above the bottom navigation.

The Forecast tour label now matches both the 12-hour and 24-hour views, and the Tides setup prompt is a little quieter in the More tray.

  20. v26.23

    Initial Release

FeyCast’s first release brings live weather, global radar with enhanced local sources, 97 map layers, severe-weather alerts, forecasts, weather history, and 59 languages.

Enhanced radar now reaches 75 countries, including countries with partial coverage.

Internally, this is my 2,623rd version and I’m exhausted. lol Who knows if people will like it or not, but if nothing else, I’ve got a fun personal app to use now. I hope you enjoy it!

More updates will land here as FeyCast grows.
